The National Gendarmerie of Côte d’Ivoire is plunged into mourning. The Chief Logis Marshal Kinimo Pierre lost his life in a traffic accident on April 27, 2024.
This drama upset not only his family and loved ones, but also the entire gendarmerie.
The circumstances surrounding this accident are of unparalleled cruelty. At 5 p.m. on that fateful Saturday, fate struck violently while the Chief Quartermaster was on the road. The precise details of the accident remain to be clarified, but the impact was serious enough to require emergency evacuation to the University Hospital Center (University Hospital) of Bouake.
Fighting for his life, the Chief Logis Marshal was rushed to the University Hospital of Bouake, where a dedicated medical team desperately tried to save him. Unfortunately, despite all the strenuous efforts made by medical staff, his injuries were too severe and he ultimately succumbed to his injuries in the early hours of Sunday April 28 morning.
