This Thursday, September 26, 2024, Nicolas Bedos appeared before the criminal court to respond to accusations of sexual assault of which he has been the target for several months. The facts date back from 2018 to 2023, according to information from Figaro. He is accompanied by Pauline Desmonts, his companion, his mother and sister that the actor went to the scene.

It all started in June 2023, when the first woman took legal action after having, according to her, been sexually assaulted by the brother of Victoria Bedos in a nightclub located in Paris. During this evening, the actor, heavily alcoholic, would have stretched out his hand at the level of his penis, over his jeans. Nicolas Bedos was then fired from the establishment.

A first accusation which freed the words of two other women. According to the testimonies collected, one of them, a waitress by trade, reports that Nicolas Bedos, visibly intoxicated, would have grabbed her by the waist and kissed her neck in May 2023. The second, for her part, , claims to have been followed by the actor into the toilet, where he allegedly tried to kiss her. A case which dates back to June 2018. As specified BFMTVneither of the two women however took legal action, but They became civil parties during the day.

Nicolas Bedos admits his penchant for alcohol

During the hearing, Nicolas Bedos’ lawyer, Julia Minkowski, stressed that no witness observed the alleged action in June 2023, suggesting a possible misunderstanding in a stampede. The actor, for his part, acknowledged his struggle with alcoholism, but firmly denied any sexual intent. “I will never be a sexual abuser”he declared on the stand, while admitting his excess alcohol and assuring that he remembers nothing.

In this case, the prosecutor, however, required one year in prisonhighlighting the recurring behavior of Doria Tillier’s ex-companion. In his defense, the son of Guy Bedos expressed his wish to redeem himself and undergo treatment for his alcohol problems. The court’s decision will be rendered on October 22.
