Koba LaD was sentenced this Wednesday to two years in prison, including one year, for violence that occurred in November 2022 in a nightclub in Paris. The firm part of the sentence will be in the form of an electronic bracelet. He is also prohibited from carrying a weapon for five years and ineligible for three years, specifies AFP.

The 24-year-old rapper was not present at the hearing. He is in pre-trial detention for a fatal accident which occurred a few days ago in Créteil, where he was indicted for aggravated manslaughter. During this accident, his passenger, his stylist, died. Koba LaD was then under the influence of narcotics.
This is not the first time that the French rapper has faced justice. In 2020, he had already been sentenced to three months in prison and 140 hours of community service for a car accident in Marseille. He fled before going to the police three days later, also receiving a four-month license suspension during this appearance.

A double conviction which is therefore supplemented by a new trial to come for his role in his recent fatal accident.
