Véronique Sanson regrets having voted for Emmanuel Macron and she does not hide it. This Thursday, September 26, during an interview for The Parisianthe 75-year-old singer spoke about the broadcast of her concert entitled See you later in the cinema, looked back on her career and criticized current French politics. Christopher Stills’ mother first confides that she is not satisfied with Michel Barnier’s government: “I’m tossed around everywhere, I don’t know anyone from the new government, I think it’s rubbish.” Before asserting that our country is “on the razor’s edge economically speaking” and to attack Emmanuel Macron: “We are managed by people who are 12 and a half years old and don’t know France. Macron doesn’t know France.”
Véronique Sanson supports her comments to the newspaper: “He doesn’t know what it’s like to go and play in Aurillac, in Lons-le-Saunier, he doesn’t know the people.” Michel Berger’s ex-partner was not very kind to the government either. “And then all these ministries invented from scratch, the ministry of mechanics, of recycling centers… I have the impression that they are agitated everywhere and are drowning in a glass of water”, she concludes.

Véronique Sanson: her strong appeal to Emmanuel Macron on the end of life
Like Line Renaud or the late Françoise Hardy, Véronique Sanson is particularly committed to the end-of-life bill. This Wednesday, September 25, at the microphone of France Inter, the singer once again launched a strong appeal to the President of the Republic. She, in fact, deplored the fact that sick people are forced to go to other countries where euthanasia is legal to die. “I find that hypocrisy,” she confides to Léa Salamé. Before going further in his remarks: “I would like something to happen to them, at least they will know what it’s like to say to themselves: ‘I know, I’m going to die.’
