After a defeat on the pitch at Caen (0-1), the‘AC Ajaccio continues its good run at home with a success obtained against Grenoble (2-0) this Tuesday evening during the 6th day of Ligue 2. On a delicate pitch and in the storm, the Corsicans made the difference in the second half with two decisive corners. “We wanted to start strong but there was an opponent and a fear of making this mistake, of not letting go. We had taken the option of settling in at their place. We did it much better in the second half. We knew it would be a real fight with the state of the pitch and complicated weather conditions. It’s not necessarily what we want to do in terms of play. But these matches, we have to succeed in winning them and that’s what we did, I’m satisfied. Having 10 points in 6 matches is very good! I have certainties about our defensive game plan. In the offensive content, the state of the pitch means that I have less. Currently, we are on the culture of results and at that level, we are good. But our results at home must improve our points taken away and not make up for it from the outside.”
