Sony reveals games optimized for its new console

While the price of Sony’s upcoming PS5 Pro is being debated, the Japanese company wants to distract attention and highlight its new, more powerful console by revealing new and improved games.

At its September 10 conference, Sony announced the PlayStation 5 Pro will be released on November 7 with a few games already supported and updated for the new, more powerful console. At yesterday’s State of Play, new and improved titles were just revealed: Stellar Blade, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, F1 24, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil 4, and Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

Full list of announced games

So here is the full list of 20 confirmed games that have been enhanced for the new PS5 Pro and that you can spend hours and hours on:

  • Alan Wake 2
  • Assassin’s Creed Shadows
  • Demon’s Souls
  • Dragon Age : The Veilguard
  • Dragon’s Dogma II
  • F1 24
  • Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
  • Gran Turismo 7
  • Hogwarts Legacy
  • Horizon Forbidden West
  • Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
  • Metal Gear Solid Delta : Snake Eater
  • Ratchet & Clank : Rift Apart
  • Resident Evil 4
  • Resident Evil Village
  • Star Wars Jedi : Survivor
  • Stellar Blade
  • The Crew Motorfest
  • The First Descendant
  • The Last of Us Part II Remastered

It is also very likely that big hits scheduled for the same dates, such as Monster Hunter Wilds and Ghost of Yotei (Ghost of Tsushima 2), will also be optimized.

What does the PS5 Pro offer?

To justify its high price of €800, which is a bit of a mouthful, Sony’s new console wants to please gamers not only with a host of patched games but also with a particularly attractive technical sheet.

If all the rumors are true, the PS5 Pro would be a super-powerful console capable of natively boosting thousands of games thanks in particular to a GPU 45% faster than the standard model. Improved ray-tracing, 4K at 60 frames per second, PSSR technology are on the menu.
