ESTAC stagnates in the red lantern position after a new defeat conceded on the pitch of Annecy (0-1) this Tuesday evening during the 6th day of Ligue 2. Despite everything, the coach Stephane Dumont appreciated the clear face of his team and hopes that the wheel will quickly turn in view of the services provided.

“The feeling is very strange, once again difficult. In terms of accounting, it’s not enough. But I liked the content, the expenditure of energy, the ability to concede almost nothing. We created a lot of clear-cut situations, we came up against a good goalkeeper. We lacked efficiency, we have to be able to turn things in our direction. Apart from the defeat in Rodez, we are still on something coherent but it’s not enough. We have to be rewarded to move forward. After a match like that, I have to be positive. If we repeat this kind of match, I don’t see how we can’t be rewarded. I saw a real team, with quality, but which was not efficient until the end. We have to persist, the players are there in the investment and we have to continue to believe in it. It’s difficult to leave here with zero points but that’s life, that’s football and we have to keep moving forward.”
