“Amadou Mahtar Mbow was able to embody Senegalese excellence on the international stage, by raising high the torch of our nation. A true monument of the contemporary history of Senegal, he is one of those emblematic figures who were able to establish the recognition of our country, both modest in size, but immense in the quality of its brilliant minds,” testified Thierno Alassane Sall.
The leader of the Republic of Values attests that “Under his leadership, Senegal has been able to rise to the highest spheres of knowledge, diplomacy, culture and world leadership. May Allah, in his infinite mercy, open the doors of His Paradise to him. And may He perpetuate his example as a source of inspiration for future generations.”
