The Apec de Bourret (Heritage, Environment, Culture Association) is organizing a beautiful exhibition with the theme “Life in our villages yesterday and today” at the Bourret village hall, Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 September from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., a free exhibition open to all.

Several themes will be addressed like our distant ancestors: Bourret in the Gallo-Roman era, drawing by Bourret in the 16th century, Cassini map from the 18th century; the natural environment and the location of buildings; the social life of the community, public buildings; family life; childhood in a rural environment, schools and education; activities in the rural world; evolution of our society, jobs of the past, offers today; future prospects, development of the old town, rehabilitation of the Proton industrial wasteland.

Conclusion: Will the challenges of global warming lead to a new evolution of the rural world?

Several activities will complete this exhibition.

Saturday 28 from 3 p.m., exchange of experiences on various agricultural practices with Maurice and Valentin Hourdé.

Sunday 29 at 3 p.m., conference and slide show by Mr. Millaseau, from the CAUE of , on “The Evolution of urban planning and architecture through the ages, in Bourret and in rural areas.”

Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., old games with free access.
