A man was charged and imprisoned for the murder of a 21-year-old man on Sunday morning in a fight outside a nightclub in Saint-Maur (Cher), the Bourges prosecutor’s office announced on Tuesday.
Aged 20, he was charged and imprisoned for “voluntary homicide while intoxicated” after a judicial investigation was opened, Bourges public prosecutor Céline Visiedo told AFP, confirming information from Berry Républicain.
Originally from Montluçon (Allier), he denies being the author of the lethal blow which caused the death of a 21-year-old man, Sunday morning around 5:00 a.m. at the exit of a nightclub in Saint-Maur, in a fight involving around twenty people gathered.
The Bourges public prosecutor’s office also specified that he was also charged with attempted murder while intoxicated in another case and that he was under judicial supervision at the time of the events.
The autopsy of the victim confirmed a single fatal wound to the chest, while the blunt weapon has not yet been found, according to Ms Visiedo.
Four other people aged 17 to 22 were also arrested in Allier by the Montluçon police station and taken into custody. They have been released.
