The main suspect in the murder of young Nabil, stabbed to death in Bordeaux on May 3 in the Aubiers districtwas arrested on September 19 in Morocco, the Bordeaux prosecutor’s office said on Tuesday, confirming information from the newspaper Sud Ouest. This is a 22-year-old young man of French nationality, who was arrested in Ifrane, a commune in the Middle Atlas, in the centre of the country. He was arrested by the Moroccan authorities. It was information from Interpol that made it possible to trace him. An extradition request should be made by the investigating judge, such a procedure lasts around six months, according to the Bordeaux prosecutor’s office.
Nabil, an 18-year-old young man, was stabbed to death in the middle of the Aubiers district, a few meters from the municipal library. The Bordeaux prosecutor’s office indicated that the autopsy showed “a single lethal wound to the left flank that perforated the heart and lung.”
