Currently vice-president of the Vendée departmental council, president of the Sud-Vendée littoral community of communes and mayor of Moutiers-sur-le-Lay, Brigitte Hybert will become senator of Vendée. She replaces Bruno Retailleau, appointed Minister of the Interior. To comply with the law on the non-accumulation of mandates, she will therefore leave her position as a local elected official.
