Daniel Dubois captures IBF belt after monster KO win over Anthony Joshua

This Saturday, September 21, at Wembley, Daniel Dubois seized the IBF heavyweight belt left vacant by Oleksandr Usyk after his victory against Anthony Joshua. The 27-year-old Englishman won by KO in the 5th round after total domination.

In the first round, a heavy right from Daniel Dubois sent Anthony Joshua to the canvas. The London Olympic champion never managed to recover from this overpowering blow and suffered throughout the fight. Several times sent to the ground, “AJ” hung on but could do nothing against the power of “Dynamite”.

A devastating counter

In the 5th round, while Anthony Joshua was struggling to survive the pressure of Daniel Dubois, the Watford native seriously hit his younger brother with a right. But in the rush, Joshua exposed himself and was countered by a right hook from Dubois directly in the chin and would not get up. Daniel Dubois signs his 22nd victory in his professional career, the 21st by KO.
