In Ligue 1, won 8-0 against Saint-Étienne. Lucas Stassin, a starter for the Greens but taken off at half-time, could do nothing to prevent his team from sinking.

ASSE had a nightmare evening in Nice, with Dylan Batubinsika kicking off hostilities with an own goal in the 4th minute. Tanguy Ndombélé doubled the lead a handful of minutes later (7th minute). Mohamed-Ali Cho followed up with a third goal in the 24th minute before Youssoufa Moukoko made the score even heavier (26th minute). The festival continued with a goal from Evann Guessand (36th minute) and another from Moukoko (39th minute). At half-time, the scoreboard at the Allianz Arena already read 6-0. In the second half, Sofiane Diop (75th minute) and Pablo Rosario from the penalty spot (86th minute) added to the Stéphanois’ misfortune and gave the score its final look.

In Spain, Alavès won 2-1 against Sevilla where Dodi Lukebakio was a starter. Carlos Vicente (17th) and Carlos Martin (60th) allowed Alavès to take the lead before Lukebakio reduced the gap (83rd). Stanis Idumbo Muzambo did not leave the Andalusians’ bench.
