Johann Zarco is not having the best season of his MotoGP career but the Frenchman is hanging on. Transferred to Honda for this 2024 season, Zarco gives his all on the track at each Grand Prix but he gets very few convincing results. Obviously frustrated, the French rider spoke to discuss the difficulties of his team but he also spoke about the future of Honda in front of the media. Thus, Zarco spoke about the future by assuring that Honda could once again be a serious competitor by the 2027 season. But he had a strong and not at all insignificant sentence concerning a knowledge that Honda would have concerning the chassis and the behavior of the bike. A knowledge that only Honda would have, unlike the others.

“I hope next year will give us some indications. But overall, from what I feel on the bike and all this talk about the fairing and all these new steps, we will return to something more normal in 27. I would love to be part of this development and race in 27, to see if the bike regains the advantage it had in the past, because from what I feel on the chassis and the behavior of the bike, I am sure that they have a knowledge that the others do not have, but that is disturbed at the moment by all these wings”, confided the tricolor rider, who therefore wants to stay with Honda for the future and see if the team returns to the top.
