The game “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” celebrates its 25th anniversary on TF1 on Friday. With Arthur in the chair of Jean-Pierre Foucault, the game’s historic presenter. For this anniversary, TF1 has planned “exceptional guests who will give their all to win as much money as possible for their associations.” And among them is Joël Dicker.

The 39-year-old Geneva writer joins PAF regulars Kev Adams, Jeff Panacloc and Florence Foresti. It is with the latter that he will try to win the jackpot for the NGO Women Safe & Children, which welcomes and cares for women and children who are victims or witnesses of all types of violence. The French comedian wanted to play with “someone brilliant and very handsome”, commented Arthur.

In the excerpt shared on social media, we see Joël Dicker and Florence Foresti deep in thought about the question: “A pair of tights is sometimes colored…” Four answers to choose from: A) expensive, B) flesh, C) expensive, D) flesh. The French comedian chooses answer D). But Arthur makes her doubt: “He must be very good at spelling,” says the host, who encourages her to turn to the author of “The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair.” And the answer is… What suspense. “Worthy of Joël Dicker’s novels,” we can read in the caption of the publication.

Please note that in addition to the traditional jokers (50/50, call to a friend, the public’s opinion) this anniversary edition introduces a new joker, the “Vox Populi”. Candidates will be able to ask the public present at the Dôme de for help in answering the questions. People who think they have the right answer will stand up and the guests will choose the one who will give them the right answer. “An innovative joker that promises moments of doubt, tension but also happiness”, promises the production.

Friday evening will be followed by a second special evening “Who wants to be a millionaire?” on September 27 on TF1. Dany Boon, Michèle Bernier, Laurent Ruquier and Paul Mirabel are among the guests, who are also “exceptional”.
