EA FC 25 introduces a whole new set of animations for Ultimate Team packs. Here’s everything you need to know to quickly tell if you’ve packed a top-tier player or not.
There’s nothing more satisfying than getting a game-changing player in an Ultimate Team pack. And at the start of a new game, each upgraded card helps build a better starting team, essential for taking on tough matches.
Packs can be earned as rewards for completing objectives in Division Rivals, UT Champions, Squad Battles, or other challenges. Players also have the option to purchase packs with FC Points, if they wish.
There are two main terms to differentiate between packs: a “board” refers to a player with an overall rating between 83 and 85, while a “walkout” only occurs for players with an overall rating of 86 or higher. Here’s how you can tell the two apart.
FC 25 content creator Donk shared an image explaining how to spot a walkout.
If the pack contains a player with an overall rating of 81 or higherthe player with the highest rating then walks down a hallway. From there, the cutscene introduces the player’s position, nationality, league, and club before revealing their card.
If the player with the highest overall pack score is 80 or lessthere will be no cutscene in the hallway, and the map will appear directly at the end of the pack.
For any walkout, when the player having the highest overall pack score is 86 or highera triangle-shaped line of lights will appear in the background of the corridor.
There is no specific method to identify a board player with an overall rating between 83 and 85. All cards over 80 have the hallway cutscene, but without the background lights.
