Stéphane Bern welcomes you to Rambouillet Castle for an exceptional visit and will unroll the ranking with you. Located in the Yvelines, about fifty kilometers from Paris, Rambouillet has known both the Ancien Régime, the Empire and the Republic. Kept secret for many years, some recently restored private spaces open their doors to the public, lifting the veil on the secrets of their history. A favorite place to stay for princes and kings for nearly six centuries, Rambouillet has since welcomed more than half of the presidents of the Republic. It was in Rambouillet in particular that President Giscard d’Estaing organized, in 1975, the first G6 in History, which brought together the heads of state of the six most industrialized countries!
