My Time at Evershine Announced – Devs Hint at Switch 2 Coming

In an announcement on September 17, 2024, Pathea Games announced My Time at Evershine, the new installment in the series currently in development for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and what the team confirms will be the successor to the Nintendo Switch.

My Time at Evershine – New Chapter of the Series Announced

The team at Pathea Games has once again announced a new chapter in their beloved My Time At series, a popular series of Life Sim and cozy games. Accompanied by a trailer, My Time at Evershine seems to be a more ambitious project from the Chinese team at Pathea Games.

Showing off some changes, the new character art style offers more realistic proportions and gives a glimpse of the improved combat system. The short trailer also shows off some of the potential companions and main characters we’ll meet in My Time at Evershine. It ends with something fans of My Time At Portia may have noticed: the return of “Ursula,” better known as Everglade, the captain of the Sky Shark Pirates.

My Time At is a series of Life Sim games in a rather interesting world. It offers a classic Life Sim side, with crafting, expanding and improving our home, and having a positive influence on the city. But it also has an action side, where players explore areas outside the city, facing dangers and enemies, which gives the series a strong RPG component. Similar to the Rune Factory series, but with a less frenetic pace of play.

My Time at Evershine – Pathea talks about the game’s new features

The team at Pathea is promising several new features with My Time at Evershine, with a story set 3 years after the events of My Time at Sandrock, promising:

  • Play as the new Governor of Evershine Settlement, leading the new settlement’s expansion plan in the northern region.
  • Many new characters unique, with which we can also establish romantic relationships. Eight will be available at launch, with two voted on by Kickstarter backers.
  • Multiple construction optionsranging from simplified to more elaborate designs.
  • Multiplayer mode returns co-op with up to 3 other players, plus 3 companions to assign tasks to.
  • New Features such as a change in art direction, numerous seasonal events and mini-games, support for single and multiplayer mods, and much more.

Pathea Games creative director Zifei Wu talks about how the team plans to deliver an even bigger game with My Time at Evershine. He admitted that the funds raised by My Time at Sandrock will be supplemented by a Kickstarter campaign. The campaign is set to launch on September 24, 2024, and there’s talk of a game coming to PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and the “Nintendo Switch 2.”

We expect more news with the launch of the Kickstarter campaign, which should also offer a potential release date for this third chapter. In the meantime, why not rediscover My Time at Portia and My Time at Sandrock? Both are available at an unbeatable price thanks to GocleCD.
