This weekend, no fewer than three events will be held in the town on the occasion of World Cleanup Day, a global initiative that mobilizes citizens to collect abandoned waste polluting our environment.

One of them will be offered by the municipality, at the Mouline lake from 9:30 am this Saturday, September 21. An action unites this year with the mobility week. “Come in large numbers in soft mobility to participate in the cleaning of our city. Before coming, remember to download a pedometer application so that at the end of the morning, we can accumulate our steps” advise the organizers. After the waste collection, an organic and local picnic will be offered by the municipality to the participants who have registered. A game on mobility with prizes to be won will close the morning.

The association l’Atelier citoyen léguevinois is organizing two separate events. The first highlight will be this Friday, September 20, starting at 6:30 p.m. in the LIDL car park for a collection around this starting point. The second highlight will be organized on Sunday, September 22, starting at 10 a.m. from the François Verdier college car park. Open to all, gloves can be provided for children by the organizers.
