The two men will dine at Trump Tower, one of the properties of the real estate mogul, currently on trial in New York.

The Republican is working — when he is not in court — to conduct shadow diplomacy, interacting with foreign leaders and criticizing the foreign policy of President Joe Biden, his rival in the November election.

Donald Trump had already received the head of British diplomacy, David Cameron, last week. The two men discussed, among other things, NATO and the war in Ukraine.

The Republican also welcomed Hungarian leader Viktor Orban to his luxurious residence in Florida in March.

Polish President Andrzej Duda is a close ally of the former US leader.

Under his presidency, Poland favored relations with the United States, particularly with President Donald Trump, sometimes to the detriment of those with the European Union.

The conservative leader even proposed that Poland build a “Fort Trump” to house thousands of American soldiers on its soil.

He had waited more than a month before congratulating Joe Biden on his election.
