A long-awaited competition. A week after the coronation of King Charles III, the United Kingdom will host another major global event. The 67th edition of Eurovision will take place in Liverpool, from May 9 to 13. It has been 25 years since the UK hosted the famous song contest. To celebrate the occasion, the sovereign and his wife Camilla Parker Bowles went to the M&S Bank Arena to unveil the stage for this new edition on April 26. Therefore, a question is on everyone’s lips. After inaugurating the decor of this performance hall, will the British royal family attend the Eurovision final? The response of the interested parties was not long in coming.

During his exchange with the British representative Mae Muller, Charles III assured him that he would watch his performance carefully from his sofa. “Good luck, we will be watching with great interest, cheering you on.”he promised the interpreter of the title I Write A Song. Royal support that deeply touched the 25-year-old singer. “THANKS”, she chuckled. For her part, Camilla added: “No pressure. No draws this year. No draws.” Encouragement that may bring luck to the United Kingdom, which saw the first place on the podium narrowly escape it during Eurovision 2022.
