A carpool, on paper ordinary, which turns into a nightmare one winter evening. On January 18, 2022, Julie got into the Mercedes C Class of a man named Redouane Er Rachdy. She has just booked a carpool trip via the BlaBlaCar application between Toulouse, where she is a business school student, and Clermont-Ferrand, where her parents live. The driver arrives in the pink city around 3:30 p.m., more than two hours late. Other passengers were supposed to be present but they withdrew. Julie therefore finds herself alone with Redouane
