The full professor in the electrical engineering department at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Moncton, Yassine Bouslimani, has died, announce the authorities of the post-secondary institution.

“The rector and vice-chancellor, Dr. Denis Prud’homme, the president of the Library Association, professor and professors of the University of Moncton, Hélène Albert, as well as the entire university community come together to offer the most sincere condolences to his family as well as to his friends, colleagues and many students.”

Psychological support services are available for students, faculty and staff, as needed.

“All details of this assistance will be sent by the Health and Psychology Service.”

The cause of death has not been released.
