When you take a VTC with Uber, you can be more or less pleasant with the driver. To say hello, goodbye and thank you are polite formulas that everyone should have. However, some passengers are less pleasant than others. If some discuss with the driver, others prefer to be silent or be on the phone. If the silence is not annoying, certain behaviors can annoy the drivers and at the end of the journey, the latter may negatively note their passengers.

It is by collecting these notes that the Uber service carried out a classification revealing the most pleasant and most unpleasant passengers, from France. Depending on the classification, there is a particular city where passengers are the most unpleasant. Here is what city it is and if you are concerned.
Unpleasant passengers
To begin with, the most pleasant passengers in France live in Troyes and Limoges, since the whole of them received an overall note of 4.97/5. In second position, we find the cities of Perpignan and Avignon (4.96/5) then from Poitiers and Tours (4.95/5).
Following the ranking, we find Mulhouse, Toulon and Dijon (4.94/5), Orleans and Strasbourg (4.93/5), Nantes, Rouen, Rennes and Montpellier (4.92/5), Nancy, Annecy and Clermont-Ferrand (4.91/5), Nice, Angers, Reims, Marseille and Lille (4.9/5) then Bordeaux, Grenoble and Amiens (4.88/5).

But what is the city at the end of the ranking, where are the worst passengers in France? According to the data collected by Uber, it is Paris! Indeed, the Parisians would be the least friendly passengers in the country, since they collected a note of 4.84/5. If the result is final for the capital, it is slightly improving. In 2023, Paris was already last in the ranking but its note improved slightly since it increased from 4.81 to 4.84.
Who is the best passenger in France?
Paradoxically, the best passenger in France is Ile -de -France! It is Gil, a man who managed to win a score of 5/5 during his 400 trips made in the year.
“I like to take the time to exchange with the drivers, I find that it is very pleasant. I am very sociable, I like to be interested in others and I often improvise by speaking of music from the 80s for example, ”he told Actu Paris.
Proof that we should not make generality and that all the inhabitants of Île-de-France are not so unpleasant. This is not the first time that Uber has published a report on its races. Recently, the VTC system unveiled the most expensive race of the year 2024, as well as the longest made by a driver to help his customers.
