In Châteauroux, the Berrichonne deplored the attack of around thirty individuals during the reception of Nîmes in National (3-2). Montpellier supporters are believed to be at the origin of these attacks, while four Crocos supporters were injured. Finally, clashes took place in Laval on the sidelines of the match on the 20th day of Ligue 2 between Tango and Troyes (1-0).
“They threw a smoke bomb in the window”
A fight broke out around 7 p.m., about an hour before kickoff, between supporters of the two teams. The scuffles took place on the terrace of a bar, near the Francis-Le Basser stadium. The manager of the establishment, shocked, gave her testimony to Ouest-France: “Troyes supporters were drinking in the café before going to the match. The Laval fans who were walking up the street to go to the stadium saw them. They threw a smoke bomb into the window to provoke them. It landed in the blind which started to catch fire.
-“Fortunately we managed to put it out with a fire extinguisher. Then, furniture flew, I don’t know who did what, it was happening too quickly,” she added. “This is unacceptable. I strongly condemn these acts. Violence has no place in Laval, in sport and football. Support for the traders and residents of the station. Thank you to the police for their intervention” , reacted on X the mayor of Laval, Florian Bercault.
