The Sacramento Kings are red hot, winning nine of their last ten games to catapult their record from an unspectacular 13-20 to a respectable 22-20 (good for eighth in the Western Conference).
Now, the Kings shift their focus to their opponent for the NBA’s third annual Rivals Week: the 21-21 Golden State Warriors (who are just one game back from them in the standings).
But when these two teams face off, who will the Kings have available to them? Who will the Warriors have in the lineup? Here is the full injury report ahead of this game.
Sacramento Kings Injury Report
After an unlucky start to the season, the Kings have, for the most part, managed to stay healthy since then. Tonight’s game is the epitome of this, as the team has none of their players listed on the injury report. That means the Kings will be at full strength heading into the game.
Keon Ellis was listed as questionable coming into the Kings’ game against the Washington Wizards. He ended up suiting up for that game and was excellent, scoring 18 points on 6-for-8 shooting from downtown (helping him climb near the top of the league leaderboards in 3-point percentage).
-Golden State Warriors Injury Report
The Warriors’ injury report is the exact opposite of what the Kings have going on. They have four guys listed on it, and there is no doubt about whether or not they will be missing this game.
Kyle Anderson (left gluteal bursitis), Draymond Green (left calf strain), Jonathan Kuminga (right ankle sprain), and Brandin Podziemski (right abdominal injury management) have all been ruled out of this game. With Green out, the Warriors will be missing their best defensive player (and arguably the best defensive player of his generation). Meanwhile, with Kuminga and Podziemski missing, the Warriors will be missing nearly 25 PPG (24.8, to be exact).
After this game against the Warriors, the Kings will immediately travel to Denver for the second game of a back-to-back against the Nuggets on Thursday, January 23.
