The gray winter days in Schaffhausen are not quite over yet, but they should become much friendlier in the coming days: On the one hand, this is due to the high pressure area that has finally passed, which has caused the persistent fog in Schaffhausen and the rest of the Mittelland in the last few weeks.
On the other hand, a low pressure area will reach the Alpine region on Thursday and will dissipate the clouds and fog through wind and rain. There may be some rain in Schaffhausen on Thursday morning and early afternoon, but it will remain dry in the evening. The temperatures range between 0 and 5 degrees.

On Friday it will stay dry all day and temperatures will rise slightly to 1 to 7 degrees. Although there is no more fog, the sky remains cloudy and the sun is only sparsely visible.
On Saturday it’s time to get out into nature! The first day of the weekend is by far the most beautiful day of this week: dry, fairly sunny with only a few clouds and temperatures between -1 and 9 degrees, it brings the first beautiful winter day in a long time.
-On Sunday the sky will become a bit cloudy again and the sun will be less generous. Nevertheless, it remains dry, with temperatures between 2 and 6 degrees.
