What Is The Night Agent Season 2 About?
Season 2 picks up about months after the Season 1 finale, with Peter stepping out from behind the phone line. This time, he’ll take on a more active role as a spy in Night Action, the shadowy top-secret organization filled with deadly threats.
“Peter was thrown right from the Camp David incident into training. Then on top of that, he’s thrown into the field,” Basso told Tudum. “He’s just not getting an inhale moment — a moment to acclimate.”
In the trailer, Peter reveals he’s now facing even greater dangers, including a possible mole within Night Action, experimental weapons falling into the wrong hands, and the reality that he can’t trust anyone. He’s also partnered with a new mentor, Alice, who is also in the Night Agent program.
Their mission leads them to Bangkok, Thailand, where they’re tasked with tracking Warren (Teddy Sears), a high-ranking American intelligence officer suspected of orchestrating a major intelligence leak. Tudum hinted that Alice and Peter’s investigation will quickly bring them “face-to-face — and weapon-to-weapon — with some very dangerous individuals.”
