L1: Benatia and Letang heavily sanctioned this Thursday?

Medhi Benatia and Olivier Létang will probably be sanctioned Thursday evening by the FFF disciplinary committee, which will look into their case after the stormy end of the match between OM and last week.

On January 14, the end of the match between Olympique de and Lille took place under high tension. Medhi Benatia and Olivier Létang experienced the last minutes from the edge of the pitch, and the OM football director was even excluded by Clément Turpin because of his comments towards the fourth referee. The former Juventus Turin defender contested his red card at the BeInSports microphone after the match. In any case, he is at great risk now according to The Teamwhich explains that Medhi Benatia is subject to a suspended sentence after a sanction from the LFP disciplinary committee, which had sentenced him to six suspension matches, three of which were closed due to his comments at half-time and at the end of the match against OL at Groupama Stadium.

Sanction known this Thursday for Letang and Benatia

“This suspension may be revoked, in whole or in part” writes the national daily, for which Olivier Létang will not pass through tastes either. Because even if he did not take a red card at the time, the president of LOSC was the subject of a report from the refereeing body after the match. He will also be judged by the FFF disciplinary committee, which provides for a two-match suspension in the event of aggressive behavior and/or inappropriate comments towards the referees, which is precisely what Olivier Létang is accused of in the specific case. The FFF disciplinary committee could also prohibit the LOSC boss from representing his club in bodies such as the board of directors or the League headquarters. The two leaders, who will not be physically present on Thursday evening, will in any case know their sanctions in the coming hours and they can already prepare for the worst.
