Raphinha closes “inexplicable” night of Benfica x Barcelona
Benfica and Barcelona played a historic game this Tuesday (21) at Estádio da Luzcom Raphinha defining the 4-5 for the culés in the 94th minute. The repercussions of the match took the sports media around the world by storm, with narrations and comments that would take the breath away of anyone passionate about football.

In Brazil, commentator Jorge Iggor went crazy during his narration of Benfica x Barcelona in the Champions League, on Max. “The whole stadium calls for a penalty, takes away Ferran Torres… Raphinha comes, he dominated, he cleared, he hit, goooool”, he shouted on traditional Brazilian style. “Historic, it’s Barça’s, Raphinha… A game for eternity, an immortal, unforgettable gamefor the history of the Champions League.”
Criticism and disbelief
Former Barcelona player, Thierry Henry talked about the epic duel on CBS Sports. And he was more critical of the Blaugrana’s performance. “As a team, they still conceded four goals. And goals that were avoidable. They managed to reassemble, there was dedication, spirit, but you should never be in a situation like that“, said the former French international.
