“Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun,” Chinese Communist leader Mao Zedong said in 1927. Almost a century later, Americans are asking if power would grow out of a Barron. As Trump makes a rare return to the Oval Officethe eyes are on his political legacy and his children. Among Trump’s five children, it was Barron Trump, the youngest and the tallest, who caught everyone’s attention.
“I have a very tall son named Baron. Has anyone ever heard of him?,” said Trump as he introduced his 18-year-old son who’s 6-feet-9-inches tall.
What followed was a cheer, accompanied by claps and shouts at the Capital One Arena. Baron, composed and smiling, responded with waves, Trump’s iconic fist in the aira thumbs-up, and a gesture urging the crowd for an even louder cheer.
Everyone had heard and seen Barron.
“Barron Trump just shook hands with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. This kid will be our President one day. Bet on it,” said commentator Nick Sortos, sharing a video from Trump’s inauguration event on X.
There were hundreds of people who actually saw Barron as Trump’s political inheritor.
“Barron is Gen Z, but even he looks primed for his own political run in 20 years. Impressive,” said a user on X.
In his shout-out to Barron, Trump explained how good his son was. He said it was Barron who suggested that Trump join the Joe Rogan podcast to win over younger voters.
“He knew the youth vote. You know, we won the youth vote by 36 points… He understood them very well… He understood the market,” said the American President.
Trump has five children from three marriages. Barron is his youngest and only child with Melania, a former model.
Barron is attending the New York University’s Stern School of Business and is fluent in English and Slovene.
Be it the Kennedys, the Rockefellers, the Bushes, the Roosevelts or the Bushes, American politics has thrived through families. So, it isn’t unusual that Americans are looking for an inheritor to Trump’s political legacy, now that he is back in the White House for a second time.
-What is interesting is that the limelight is on Barron Trump this time.
Barron was only 10 when Trump entered the White House for the first time in 2017. He has moved from school to college, and has grown tall.
People were searching how tall Barron Trump was as they saw him in the Capitol Rotunda on Monday.
“When people Google ‘Barron Trump’s height’, search results show he is now 6 feet, 9 inches tall. However, during his May graduation from Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach, the 18-year-old was reportedly 6 feet, 7 inches tall,” says a USA Today report.
That means, Barron is still growing.
American media reports suggest that Barron spent much of his childhood at the Trump Tower in Manhattan. He moved in to the White House with mother Melania in 2017. In 2019, the family moved to Mar-a-Lago, in Palm Beach, Florida.
With behind-the-scenes contributions and a nod from his father, Barron has stepped into the media spotlight. Americans can’t stop discussing if Barron would be the real inheritor of Donald Trump’s political legacy.
