On the occasion of his wishes to the armies, Emmanuel Macron urges Europe to take its destiny in hand

NARRATIVE – At Cesson-Sévigné, the president pleaded for a “European preference” in terms of armaments.

Due to lack of time, Emmanuel Macron did not visit the various workshops where some of the armies' new skills in artificial intelligence, cyber or connectivity were to be presented to him. The head of state arrived late in Cesson-Sévigné, in the suburbs of , where he presented his wishes to the armies on Monday. This year, the Head of State chose to put technology in the spotlight. The Rennes ecosystem brings together ComCyber, the cyber defense command, to Amiad, the new ministerial agency for defense AI created last year, via the School of Transmissions, Digital and Cyber. This is also where the digital and cyber land support command is located, one of the major “alpha” commands also created last year to support the rise in power of the armies.
