There is almost nothing left of the leisure complex inaugurated in 1971. Around 3:30 a.m. this Monday, a violent fire broke out in the bowling alley located near the Alma shopping center south of Rennes, we learned from the firefighters .
At the height of the intervention, more than 90 firefighters were on site to put out the flames. The fire is now contained but the damage is very significant inside the bowling alley which is completely destroyed. However, no casualties have been reported.
Firefighters managed to prevent the flames from spreading to nearby King Cadeau and Kiabi stores. They are still on site for the clearing phase and to prevent any resumption of the fire. They also fear a collapse of the slab, which separates the bowling alley from the toy store, which is starting to crack.
-The surroundings of the shopping center, the largest in Brittany, were completely cordoned off and an investigation was opened by the police to determine the causes of the fire.
