The Stream for Humanity charity marathon, which mobilized Internet stars for three days on Twitch, raised more than 3.4 million euros in donations for the benefit of Doctors Without Borders, the organizers announced on Sunday January 19 .

With “more than 26 streamers united for peace”the first edition of this fundraiser brought together big names on the French web on the live broadcast platform such as Squeezie, the second largest YouTuber in France (19.3 million subscribers on YouTube), and Inoxtag (whose documentary Kaizen was the most viewed video in 2024 on YouTube in France).
The objective was to “helping families who are victims of armed conflicts”with particular support shown to “Palestine, Congo, Sudan and Lebanon”according to the organization, which must return the donations to the NGO Médecins sans frontières.
Initiated by streamer Amine (« Aminematue »3.1 million subscribers on Twitch), the event took place at the Jean-Bouin stadium in Paris. Web personalities set themselves challenges and appealed to the generosity of their subscribers. This charity marathon concluded with a football match.

-Before its launch, Stream for Humanity had been criticized by certain Internet users, who wondered about the absence of Mayotte or Ukraine among the beneficiaries of this mobilization. The streamer Amine defended himself by saying that he was ready to “do things again in the future for different causes”.
In recent years, these online mobilizations have multiplied in the wake of Z EVENT, a gathering of Internet stars including the 8e edition raised more than 10 million euros in September for five associations fighting against precariousness.
