After the Burgenland election: Herbert Kickl is now speaking

“Today, the people of Burgenland continued the liberal wave of renewal and, with the historically best result, made the FPÖ the second strongest political force in their federal state for the first time in history. For this I would like to thank all voters warmly and congratulate our liberal top candidate Norbert Hofer and his team on this great electoral success!” said FPÖ federal party chairman Herbert Kickl in his first reaction to the outcome of the state elections in Burgenland.

Kickl continued: “The voters gave Norbert Hofer and the Freedom Party in Burgenland a sensational vote – with 23 percent and thus a great increase of around 13 percent compared to the 2020 state election,” said Kickl.

Kickl concludes: “People want an honest policy that once again puts their well-being, their interests and a good future for them at the center of everything they do. The people of Burgenland also sent this signal today by placing their trust in the FPÖ, thereby once again strengthening honesty, credibility and straightforwardness,” explained Kickl.
