Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman was in fine form for Atalanta on Saturday night, but was unable to help his team claim all three points as they lost 3-2 to league leaders Napoli.

With that goal, Lookman became the first player to net at least 10 goals in Serie A for three consecutive seasons, adding to his tallies of 13 goals in 2022/23 and 11 in 2023/24.

This consistency has cemented him as one of the league’s most reliable scorers, an accolade earned through hard work and a relentless drive to improve.

His journey has taken him from Charlton Athletic’s youth ranks to stints with Everton, Fulham, and RB Leipzig, before finding his best form at Atalanta where he has excelled.

This season alone, he has 13 goals in all competitions, further establishing himself as a top-tier forward in Europe with a lot of clubs scrambling to sign him despite having a contract with Atalanta until the summer of 2026.
