Christensen passed fit

Andreas Christensen can take to the pitch once again, as the Dane has been passed fit after overcoming the left Achilles tendinitis that has seen him miss over four months of competitive action.

In fact, he has only played one match during the 2024/25 seasonthe LaLiga matchday one fixture against Valencia on 17 August. Christensen came off the bench in the 64th minute to play at the heart of the defence in a match that ended in a victory for the blaugranes. He would go on to miss the following match against Athletic Club on 25 August, and had been unavailable to Hansi Flick since then.
