Baden-Württemberg, a federal state that delights nature lovers with its diversity, has a special pearl: the Hohentwiel Fortress. As the largest castle ruin in Germany, it attracts visitors from all over the world, as Baden24 reports. The fortress, once a summit castle on an extinct volcano in Hegau, near Lake Constance, extends over nine hectares.
