During the usual episode of the podcast Changing Room Chronicles journalist Fabrizio Biasin shared his thoughts on Juventus – Milan and which of the two teams the match at the Stadium would be more decisive for in the race for the top four:
“One of the two teams, in my opinion, cannot afford a draw. A draw is never a bad result in such an important game. However, given how the season has unfolded so far, Juventus risks being unable to afford a draw. The other day, they played a truly good game in Bergamo, and a draw of that kind there should make you say, ‘Well done, well done, well done!’ But in reality, that number keeps growing—11, 12, 13… If another draw comes along, from a media perspective, they’ll start saying that this Juve only knows how to draw. They never lose, but that way, it’s a disaster. I believe Juventus, for once, needs to let go of the ropes, so to speak. That is, go for the win, even at the cost of losing. Take some risks. Because I think this needs to be the turning point match.”
Biasin continued to talk about Milan – Juve and the race for top four spots:
“I think that, one way or another, both teams will end up in the Champions League. And considering that the fifth spot might also qualify, we’ll see—nothing’s certain yet. For me, that’s not really the issue. Both teams have potential, and high potential at that. I have no doubt about it. However, in this specific case, this match is crucial to bringing spirit to a season that has so far been disappointing for both sides. That’s what I’m saying: neither of the two can afford a draw, in my opinion. Both need to push themselves, even at the risk of losing, to make something significant happen.”
