Bonsoir la Belgique, goedenavond België! The Kingdom kicks off tonight the search for their representative at this year’s Eurovision. It is the turn of Dutch-speaking broadcaster VRT to select the entrant. Eurosong 2025, the name of their national selection, begins with the four hopeful acts on stage.
Peter Van de Veire is ready to host the first of three showcases which will determine the Belgian act to Eurovision 2025. Eight songs have been internally selected to compete in this year’s selection. The first two shows have already been recorded and they will present four songs each.
The Belgian final will take place in the Flemish city of Vilvoorde on Saturday 1 February 2025. A combined professional jury/ public voting deliberation will determine who will fly the Belgian flag in Basel, Switzerland next May.
The professional jury consists of 15 members:

- Bart Cannaerts (Eurovision fan and expert)
- merol ( Dutch singer and actress)
- Gustaf (Belgium 2023)
- The Germonpré (music coordinator VRT 1)
- Leslie Cable (Head of delegation for RTBF at the Eurovision Song Contest)
- Stephan Monsieur (chairman OGAE, the official fan club of the Song Festival)
- Jasper Van Biesen (author of ’65 years of Belgium at the Song Festival ‘)
- Nona Van Braeckel (Studio Brussel)
- Laura Govaerts (MNM)
- Kim Debrie (Radio2)
- Anja Daems (Radio2)
- Imane Boudadi (MNM)
- Indy van Cauwenbergh (choreographer)
- André Vermeulen (journalist and ESC expert).
