The names of three personalities from Drôme appear in the Decree of January 15, 2025 relating to promotion and appointment to the national order of the Legion of Honor, published in the Official Journal:
– Luc Barbierpresident of the judicial court of Valencia, for 26 years of service, on the recommendation of the Ministry of Justice, is elevated to the rank of knight.
– Marie-Pierre Moutonpresident of the departmental council of Drôme and municipal councilor of Pierrelatte, for 23 years of service, on the recommendation of the Ministry of the Interior, is elevated to the rank of knight.
-– Stéphane Courbitoriginally from Crest, president of an audiovisual production group, for 34 years of service, at the suggestion of the Ministry of Culture, is elevated to the rank of knight. He is the founder of Banijay Group and remains one of the world's largest producers of television content. It is to him that we owe Star Academy and Loft Story.
