Bravery with a fantastic ride before a historic success, the ecstasy of the Swiss

A fantastic day for Slovenian skiing. Miha Hrobat first had the honor of opening the legendary downhill on the famous Lauberhon track in Wengen. And he took his ride in style. Until the Swiss duo, he sat in the red chair of the leader, but in the end he had to admit superiority to only two and looked forward to third place, the best Slovenian ranking in Wengen. Faster than him were local matadors Franjo von Allmen and Marco Odermatt, who caused an explosion of enthusiasm. The latter took the lead in style and skied to another victory.

“At the start I thought 2:25 would be a good time. At the finish line it was 2:23, which was excellent. Unfortunately, two better Swiss guys overtook me. I’ll push a bit for third place. I’m happy with the ride. It’s a good day was,” said Hrobat in an interview for Slovenian national television, and when asked what it was like to sit in the leader’s chair, he added: “It’s stressful to sit in the leader’s red chair. Paris was very close, too Alexander. Unfortunately, Krichmayr fell. It’s nice, but it’s also stressful.”
