The first precipitation should increase over Southern Corsica in the evening, with thunderstorms possible on the coast. Around 10 p.m., Haute-Corse will in turn be affected by this rainy deterioration, which will intensify as the night goes on. On Sunday, rains will extend to a large portion of the island, particularly the eastern half, and will continue throughout the day. This disturbance could cause very humid and unstable conditions over a large part of the territory.

Answer

Heavy accumulations of precipitation are expected, especially on the eastern slopes and the summits of the central relief, where between 150 and 220 mm of water could fall by Sunday evening. From 1,500 meters above sea level, this heavy rain could turn into snow, according to Météo-France. In coastal areas, accumulations will be more moderate, around 40 to 60 mm, with peaks reaching 80 mm locally.
