Omar Marmoush is no longer in the Eintracht squad on Friday evening against BVB due to his impending move. He still becomes a celebrated player after the victory.

When his teammates were already in each other’s arms cheering, Marmoush came out of the players’ tunnel and went up the steps onto the field.
The cameras caught him immediately. Marmoush was enthusiastically celebrated and farewelled by the Eintracht fans as he walked to the stands. As he stood in front of the stands, he had to push the tears out of his eyes.
On the night from Friday to Saturday, Marmoush spoke to X. “Forever in my heart” he wrote in his post. There was also a video of Marmoush stepping in front of the Frankfurt curve one last time.

-Things also got emotional on the field. The Egyptian, whose transfer to Manchester City is now only a formality, hugged every single one of his teammates.
“We all know what we had in Omar. Outstanding character, outstanding player. He helped the club and the team a lot. You could also see in the pictures that we appreciated it,” said Eintracht midfielder Mario Götze DAZN. “Some of us will stay in touch with him. Those were just great scenes.”
Krösche confirmed impending Marmoush departure
Before the game, Eintracht sports director Markus Krösche had already confirmed the impending change: “Yes, it basically looks like Omar is leaving us. That’s why he’s not in the squad today. Let’s see what the next few days bring. The probability is very, very high that he will leave us,” he explained DAZN on.
The situation was not easy for Marmoush either. “You can just see what kind of character he has, that he gave everything again in the last two games,” Krösche enthused about his high-flyer.
