National mourning will be observed on the day of the funeral of Didier Guillaume, which will be celebrated at Monaco Cathedral on Thursday January 23 at 11 a.m.
From this Saturday morning, the flags will be flown at half-mast on all public buildings in the Principality until the end of the funeral. In addition, a minute of silence will be observed on Monday at 11 a.m., announced by a siren inviting everyone to reflect.
The Prince's Palace also announced this Friday evening that an ardent chapel, accompanied by a register of condolences, will be installed in the Chapel of Mercy, on the Place de la Mairie, “to allow those who wish to pay him a last tribute”.
The chapel should be accessible to the public from Monday January 20 to Wednesday January 22, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
