Supreme Court upholds TikTok ban, but Donald Trump still has to rule

Unsurprisingly, the Supreme Court of the United States confirmed, on Friday January 17, the ban on downloading the TikTok platform, from Sunday January 19, if it is not transferred to American interests. This unanimous decision puts the matter on the table of Donald Trump, who took office the next day and expressed his opposition to banning the application. “The Supreme Court’s decision was expected and everyone must respect it.
