It is a well-established tradition in Rodez. For more than 30 years now, the month of January has rhymed with Wedding Fair! And 2025 will not be missed. The meeting takes place on Saturday 18 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday January 19 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the village hall.
This, at the invitation of Ruthenian merchants who have taken over the management of the event in recent years to keep it going. “For us, it’s an opportunity to liven up the city and offer a real moment of life to visitors”summarizes Antoine Roux, of the eponymous jewelry store, notably supported by Coordonnable and Julien d'Orcel Rodez in the organization.
In total, around thirty Aveyron exhibitors will be brought together in various themes. “The idea is to come to the Salon and be able to validate everything,” promises the man based on rue Neuve. Thus, from the keys to organizing a secular ceremony to choosing the place in which to celebrate your wedding, all themes will be covered. Without forgetting the traditional caterers, jewelers, decorators and costume designers, who are obviously mobilized. In this sense, traditional fashion shows of wedding dresses, costumes and lingerie will take place both days at 3 p.m., in order to present the most beautiful pieces to the public.

The opportunity also to discuss the latest trends in wedding planning. “This is the advantage of organizing the Show in January. And as many families announce their marriage during the end-of-year holidays, it’s interesting timing,” explains Antoine Roux.
An event that knows how to find its audience since last year, 1,200 people went to the village hall. “The craze is still there, confirms the jeweler. And we see it at the national level where more and more marriages and civil partnerships are being celebrated. In any case, there are still so many people who love each other!” And maybe they can treat themselves to a nice wedding gift. Since as part of this edition, a pair of wedding rings worth €1,000 will be up for grabs.
