Belgium sacks coach Tedesco, Garcia is on pole for replacement – Football

Domenico Tedesco is no longer the coach of the Belgium national team. The news, anticipated by the newspaper ‘Le Soir’, was made official by the Belgian Football Federation, with a note on its website, after today’s meeting of the executive committee. “Thank you Domenico for your commitment and passion over these two years. We wish you the best for the future!”, is the post then spread on social media.

After the latest disappointing results of Lukaku and his teammates, the Belgian Football Federation committee had taken 45 days to reflect until reaching today’s decision. Now the search for Tedesco’s replacement begins, and according to the local press, former Roma and Napoli coach Rudi Garcia is in pole position for the role of new coach.
