Pierre Lemaitre, winner of the Goncourt Prize in 2013 with “Goodbye Up There”, continues his vast romantic tale with “A Radiant Future”, a breathtaking third book on the Thirty Glorious Years. Before the release on January 21, 2025 of this action novel, he spoke at length to Ouest-France about the relationship he has with his characters, about his narrative journey, about the messages he wants to convey. “My job is to talk to my contemporaries,” he confides.
